Following a journey to find the places visited by 19th centry artist George Petrie in Connemara I documented the process. In this work I am interested in how our relationship with the landscape is a construct of identification with historical cultural traditions, for example, landscape painting. This work explores the myths of representation and the idea of a romantic relationship with the landscape. In attendance are Juline Campbell, Kim Jones, Peter Murray and Daniel Murray.
